Local Man Contemplates Showering During Thunderstorm: “Is It Worth the Risk?”

As thunder rumbles overhead, one man finds himself facing a tough decision: to shower or not to shower.

“On one hand, I really need to clean myself,” says the man, who wishes to remain anonymous. “But on the other hand, I don’t want to risk getting struck by lightning in the shower.”

The man has been staring at his bathroom for several minutes now, contemplating the potential consequences of his actions. He has even consulted the internet for advice, but the answers have been inconclusive.

“I’ve seen articles that say it’s safe to shower during a thunderstorm as long as you’re not touching anything that conducts electricity,” he explains. “But then I’ve also seen articles that say you should avoid all contact with water during a storm.”

The man’s friends and family are divided on the issue. His mother insists that he wait until the storm passes before showering, while his best friend argues that the chances of getting struck by lightning in the shower are slim to none.

“I don’t know what to do,” says the man, wringing his hands. “I feel like I’m in the middle of a really bad movie plot. Will I make it out alive, or will I be electrocuted in the shower?”

As the storm rages on outside, the man continues to weigh his options. Should he risk it and take a shower, or should he wait it out and suffer through another day of feeling dirty? Only time will tell.

In the meantime, the man advises others to think twice before showering during a thunderstorm. “It’s just not worth the risk,” he says. “Unless you want to end up like a character in a Final Destination movie, of course.”
